Armory Key Shadowboxes

I was asked to create two shadow boxes for key ceremonies as we transferred two of our armories (Beardstown and Lawrenceville) to their respective communities. I was responsible for researching armory histories to determine what units were stationed there and creating architectural elevation drawings to be engraved on metal plaques in each shadow box. I created the drawings by using Google Street View Images and recreating them by hand in Adobe Illustrator. I was also responsible for working with the award company to get the plates engraved and working with the Department of Military Affairs to secure payment.
